(Reuters) – Tesla (NASDAQ:) Inc’s Full Self-Driving Beta software program is now out there to everybody in North America, Elon Musk mentioned early on Thursday, because the automaker awaits regulatory approval for its vehicles to be pushed with out human oversight.

“Tesla Full Self-Driving Beta is now out there to anybody in North America who requests it from the automobile display, assuming you’ve got purchased this feature,” Musk tweeted.

Tesla didn’t reply to a request for remark.

Musk mentioned final month that Tesla’s superior driver assistant software program wouldn’t acquire regulatory approval in 2022.

Musk hopes to offer an replace to Full Self Driving (FSD) in 2023 to indicate regulators that the know-how is way safer than the common human driver.
